Wolf WR9
The Wolf WR9 was a Formula One car for selected races of the 1979 season. Their driver was Keke Rosberg. The engine was a Ford Cosworth DFV. The car was designed by Harvey Postlethwaite, previously responsible for the Hesketh 308. Rosberg first race in the WR9 was in the 1979 Austrian Grand Prix but retired with Electrical failure, The finnish driver blew the engine up in the Dutch Grand Prix. The Fin failed to qualify for the WR9's final race was the 1979 Canadian Grand Prix At the end of the 1979 Formula One season, Walter Wolf, owner of the team, pulled out of Formula One and sold the assets of his organisation to Wilson and Emerson Fittipaldi for the use of their Fittipaldi Automotive team. ==External links==
